Gian Carlo Calza

He is a leading authority in Asian art and aesthetics, author of many books and many exhibitions in the field.
He was a professor of Asian Art History at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice.
He has studied, conducted researched and coordinated conferences in many an institution in Asia, Europe and the USA.
His books and catalogues on Asian arts and cultures have been published in various languages.
His main fields of interest are reciprocal cultural influences between East and West, as well as the comprehension of any ‘style’ as a mode of personal and social development of spiritual values.
